Following a £1m investment into Gloucester House, Jeff’s aims are to support the local community and its future leaders, to help keep the regions talent within the area for the foreseeable future. Jeff Highfield, owner of Gloucester House added: “Our aim is to support businesses and also to provide opportunities to young people, where possible, to sustain and develop the area.”
The primary school provides as many opportunities as possible for their pupils, with the aim that their learners are equipped with the knowledge to be able to lead a fit and active life. To support their aims, St.Paul’s encourage sport throughout their curriculum from table tennis, to hula hooping to football. As well as after school activities including ballroom dancing and martial arts.
St.Paul’s have achieved great success with all of their football teams, with both their boys and girls teams this year making it through to the Stockton Schools Final Competition, one team is currently unbeaten in their league.
Sharon Tattersdill, PE Leader at St.Paul’s Primary School added “We were delighted when Gloucester House came forward to sponsor us. We were in need of new kits desperately and the children are so excited to wear them. The fact that we were able to be included in the design of the kits, and Gloucester House has provided us not only with a high quality kit but one that is in our school colours and bearing our school emblem as well as Gloucester House’s logo is fantastic.
The children are going to be very proud to wear them and the way they feel will enhance their performance and also their team spirit. We are now eagerly awaiting our next game.”
